Luis Serrano graduated from the Faculty of Fine Art at the Complutense University in Madrid, and was awarded a master’s degree in Art History by “La Sapienza” University in Rome. Prevalently figurative, Luis Serrano’s work covers all the traditional genres, infusing them with hyperrealist, theatrical and symbolic connotations.

His most recent solo exhibition in Italy was held at the Museo Mario Praz/GNAM in October 2012 and curated by C. Stefani, catalogue published by Palombi with texts by E. di Majo, M. Vallora and C. Stefani. Most recent group exhibition at the “L’Opera” gallery, Rome, 2013, catalogue published by Palombi with a text by E. Sassi.
