Bruno Aller (Roma, 1960). Painter and engraver, a great master of pictorial abstraction. His works are characterized by the sign and the gesture, the application of paint layer by layer. For Aller the canvas is a surface on which to reflect, on which the form of the design alternates with the emotional form through the colours and marks left on his works.

All his pieces have a vanishing point, a useful place from which to start the journey, the meditation on painting, which in the artist’s own words: “is not life, but it is like life, so essential that we cannot live without it”.
