The biography of Nacho Zubelzu (Reinosa, 1966) is marked by his passion for art and nature, thanks to the fascination exerted upon him since childhood by the environment of the Valle de Campoo in Cantabria, a small and very green mountainous region in northern Spain.

Nacho exploits his own experiences of contact with nature to assimilate the beauty of the elements that he shapes artistically through painting, photography, sculpture, large-scale installations and performances. Without ever placing a dividing line between different artistic disciplines, Nacho employs the repetitions and variations generated by sequences to tackle the analysis of ideas, sensations and emotions in his works.
