Paolo Porelli (Rome, 1966) è graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, is an artist and teacher of sculpture and art of ceramics at “c.r.e.t.a. Rome”, the international ceramic art center.

As a result of its multiple residences in the United States, the artist has developed a different technique of building the work: through metal plumbing tubes that allow stability of sculpture and thus greater expressive freedom on the part of the artist. His terracotta sculptures with the addition of mixed materials (plastic, acrylic foam, metal, ply, synthetic materials, natural substances) never have a defined face, such as De Chirico and Kostabi mannequins, from which Porelli moves.
