The second edition of the Rome Art Week (RAW) returns, the week entirely dedicated to Contemporary Art, will take place in the capital city from 9 to 14 of October, involving more than 350 participants, between institutions, art galleries, foundation and artists. The event has officially obtained the patronage of the MiBACT – Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism – and it is going to be one of the most awaited events.
Even this year Honos Art will take part on this cultural initiative, hosting a performance by “nomad” artist Nacho Zubelzu titled “Sembrándome” focused on the theme of the precarious cohabitation between man and nature and the necessity to return a more sustainable life model.
The performance refers to a metaphoric view that push the artist to a conceptual game of a man understood as a seed, which puts the roots and produces fruits. In the implementation of gestures and repetition of actions will emerge different anthropological, ethnological, philosophical, musical or fetish aspects, where the whole audience will be invited to take an active part.
The exhibition will lead people to questioning on symbolism, poetry, and art, and above all will remark how small gesture could help in saving the planet which is “Hanging by a thread “ ( as the title of the exhibition “ Pendiente de un hilo “ on show until November the 11th).
The performance will takes 25 minutes, so remember to be on time.
